In a speech by the People’s Budget on October 10, 2025 in the House of Representatives, the Prime Minister announced that the Government of Madani had agreed to give a toll discount of 50% of the usual toll rate for Class 1 (Class 2 on Penang Bridge) only from October 18, 2025 to 19 October 2025 to enable all Malaysians to celebrate and celebrate the Deepavali Day.

The 50% toll discount in conjunction with Deepavali will be implemented in all highways in accordance with the following resolutions:

  • Start: 12.01 midnight, October 18, 2025 (Saturday)
  • END: 11:59 pm, 19 October 2025 (Sunday)
    • Effective at all toll plazas except for the toll plaza at the national border entrance namely the Sultan Iskandar Building Toll Plaza, South North Expressway, (PLUS) and Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza, Malaysia-Singapore Second Highway (Linkedua)
