MyGOV Malaysia is a one-stop application for government services as the main reference point for various public services. Find out important information about MyGOV Malaysia at this link:
Launched in July 2025, the mobile application is part of the country’s Government Technology (GovTech) initiative which aims to make it easier for the people of this country to access various government agencies easily.
Through this application, users can check, send applications and be the first to receive the latest information on disaster warnings, public services and related initiatives.
Various additional features will also be introduced from time to time.
To use the MyGOV Malaysia application, you only need to use MyDigital ID which is a valid and secure identification system for Malaysians to use online.
What is MyGOV Malaysia
MyGov Malaysia is an official digital platform developed by the Malaysian Government as a one-stop reference center for various public services.
This initiative aims to make it easier for the public to access government information and affairs in a faster, systematic and user-friendly manner.
Through MyGOV Malaysia, users can check service status, make applications related to government agencies, and receive official notifications directly from the authorities.
The application also consolidates various government services in one platform, thus reducing the need to browse many separate websites.
In addition to the existing functions, MyGOV Malaysia also offers additional features that will be launched from time to time to improve the user experience and the efficiency of government service delivery.

How to Check STR Assistance Through MyGOV
Here’s how to check for STR assistance via MyDigital ID and MyGOV:
- Register and activate MyDigital ID first to enable identity verification to be done digitally.
- Open STR’s official website at this link.
- Select login using MyDigital ID on the provided page.
- Verify user identity according to system instructions.
- Check the status of STR and Mercy Foundation Contribution (SARA) once the login is successful.
- Download the MyGOV Malaysia application via the Play Store or App Store as an alternative review.
- Log in to the MyGOV Malaysia application using the same MyDigital ID.
- Find the Government Assistance or STR menu in the application.
- Check eligibility status and help information displayed in the system.

The MyGOV application can only be used by Malaysian citizens who have a MyDigital ID.
You need to have a MyDigital ID account to log in to the MyGOV app. Please visit www.digital-id.my to download and register MyDigital ID first before using the MyGOV application. Make sure you use the MyDigital ID application at least version 2.3.2 to simplify the process of logging into MyGOV.
Among the service categories found in this application are:
Transportation such as JPJ Summons Review and so on
Welfare such as Check Disaster Victims and so on
Retirement i.e. services to government retirees and so on Education such as Malaysia Main Examination Result Review and so on Land Affairs such as Federal Real Estate Review and so on
News and Announcements Other services You can check, display notifications / info / survey, application* and payment*.

The MyGOV application now provides various services from government agencies, including:
Road Transport Department (JPJ)
Social Welfare Department (JKM)
Public Service Department (JPA)
Federal Land and Mines Office (PTG)
Election Commission (SPR)
In addition, there are also services that involve cross-agency collaboration. More agencies will participate in this application to further expand the services offered to users.
You can select the desired service category in the application and follow the instructions provided to obtain information or perform a review.
Reviews for others are subject to authorization by the agency providing the service.
For now, only services in the Transportation category do NOT allow reviews for others, namely for the services below:

Blacklist Status Check
Apart from those categories, all other services allow users to review information for others.
Don’t worry, access failure doesn’t mean your data is lost. Personal information and records are still kept by the responsible government agency, for example JPJ for driving licences.
The MyGOV application only functions as a platform that connects users with the digital services of government agencies and does not store any user data.
You will receive three types of notifications:
Alerts – Notifications from NADMA related to floods, heavy rains, or other disasters in real time.
General – Information from the ministry to the people, such as information, notification of government programs, health screening, etc.
Personal – Special notifications such as birthday greetings and important reminders related to accounts or services used.
The “News” section delivers the latest information from major news portals and trusted sources.
You can close notifications in the following ways:
1. Go to your phone’s settings.
2. Select Apps & Notifications.
3. Find the MyGOV application, then stop the notification according to your choice.

If there are mistakes or doubts, you can check and update your information at any office of the National Registration Department (JPN) to be reconciled in the MyGOV application.
You can contact the Malaysia Government Call Center (MyGCC) at 03-8000 8000.
You can get help and make a complaint here. Complaints will be responded to within 3 working days.
The MyGOV application only uses MyDigital ID to log in. To get help with login problems, please log your complaint here.
