The end of the year and the beginning of the year of the Hijrah (JAKIM)

Evening June 26, 2025 is the closing of the year 1446 Hijrah and Maghrib will begin in 1447 Pilgrimage.

In conjunction with the arrival of the Islamic New Year 1447H equivalent to 1 Muharram 1447H, let us end the end of the year and begin the beginning of the Islamic New Year by reading the end of the year and the beginning of the Hijrah year.

The following is a prayer of the end of the year and the beginning of the year of pilgrimage which can be read after the Asar prayer or at the time of Maghrib, June 26, 2025 equals 29 Zulhijjah 1446H.

This is because based on the Islamic calendar, the exchange of hijries (migration) begins after the time of dusk.

Early Muharam, the beginning of the Prophet’s migration

Early Muharam is one of the most important days for us Muslims as it marks the beginning of the new year in Islamic calendars. It was taken from the date of the transfer (migration) of our Prophet Muhammad SAW who moved from Mecca to the land of Medina.

As Muslims, we are encouraged to appreciate and practice the concept of migration in our lives. This does not mean that we need to move from place to place every year but it is enough to migrate from bad to better. This is also considered a pilgrimage.

Time to read the end of the year & early prayers of the year 1446 H / 2025

In conjunction with preparations in conjunction with the early arrival of Muharam 1447H, let us end the end of the year by reading Year -end prayer Before entering the Maghrib time or After the Asar prayer on 29 Zulhijjah 1446Htogether 26 June 2025 (Thursday)

For starting the beginning of the new year 1447H, let us read Prayer early year after Maghrib time entered on 26 June 2025 (Thursday) .

Year -end prayer & the beginning of the Islamic year

Year -end prayer

O God, what I have done in this year, what I have forbidden to me, and I did not repent of it and I have come to me with me, after you, after you The repentance after my wounds on your disobedience, for I forgive you, forgive me You accept from me, and do not cut off from you, O honorable

In Rumi: “Allahumma MA ‘Amiltu Min’ Amalin Fi Hadzihis Sanati Ma Nhaitani ‘Anhu, Wa Lam ATube Minhu, Wa Hamalta Fiha’ Alayya Bi Fadhlika Ba’da Qudatika ‘Ala’ UQubati, Wa Da’utani Ilat Taubati Min Ba’di Jara’ati ‘Ala Ma’shiyatik. Tataqabbaala Minni Wa La Taqtha ‘Raja’i Minka Ya Karim. ”

Meaning: “My Lord, I ask my forgiveness this year including what you are prohibiting while I have not been able to repent, my actions that you know for your generosity while you are capable of disobeying me, and the acts (sins) that you command for repentance while I am murdering it. It is a promise.

Early year prayer

O God, you are the first and the first, and for your great grace and the most reliable good And his princes, and the help of this emirate soul with badness, and occupying what is brought me closer to you, O Jallal

DALAM RUMI: “Allahumma Antal Abadiyyul Qadîmul Awwal. Wa ‘Ala Fadhlikal’ Azhimi Wa Karimi Judikal Mu’awwal. Hadza ‘Amun Jadidun Qad Aqbal. Syaithani wa auliya’ih, wal ‘aal’ ala haadzihin nafsil ammarati bis su’i, wal isytighala bima yuqarribuni ilaika zulfa, ya dzal jalali w ikram.

Meaning: “My Lord, You are the eternal, Qadim, and the beginning. For your great and your glorious, you are the door of hope.

Both of these prayers can be read alone or in the congregation either in mosques, surau, work and so on.

Since the beginning of Muharam also fell on Friday, let’s take this opportunity for all of us to treat and don’t forget to read Al Kahfi’s surah.

From Abu Umamah RA, that the Prophet said:

More to the prayer on every day, all day; For the prayer of my nation is exposed to me every day a group, whoever has many of them was a prayer that was close to me from me

Meaning: “Increase the salutations on me every Friday. Indeed, my people will be read to me every Friday. Whoever treats me the most, he will be closest to me (in heaven).” [Riwayat al-Baihaqi (5995)]

May the prayer we read this blessing and blessing of Allah and protected from all the evil acts he prohibits. And intend to be our past and coming sins to be forgiven.

In addition, the intention is to always receive the grace and forgiveness of God in the future.
