JPJVBID – Seized Vehicle Auction Application

The JPJVBid application is an official platform developed by the Malaysian Road Transport Department (JPJ) to enable the public to bid for vehicle registration numbers online more easily, transparently and securely.
The JPJVBID application can be downloaded starting March 10, 2026 via the Play Store (Android), Apple App Store (iOS) and Huawei AppGallery platforms.
The first bid through the JPJVBID application will take place from April 1 to April 5, 2026. Interested members of the public can start purchasing the e-catalogue for the purpose of participating in the initial bid 18 Mac 2026 at a price of RM50.00 for each auction series.

What is JPJVBID?
JPJVBID is a digital platform for public auction management of impounded and confiscated vehicles online.
This initiative is a strategic move by the department in strengthening the transparency, efficiency and integrity of vehicle disposal management.
Access to this application can be made using an existing MyJPJ ID or through a new registration on the official JPJ portal.
Through this system, users can:
- Review the list of impounded and disqualified vehicles currently open for auction.
- Make a vehicle bid online.
- Track bid status in real time.
- Making payments digitally through the JPJ channel.
- Know the results of the auction without having to be physically present
In short, JPJvBid makes the process of obtaining JPJ auction vehicles easier, transparent and efficient.

How to Register/Login to the JPJVBID Application
- Download the JPJVBid app on smartphone from Play Store, App Store or Huawei AppGallery.
- Register an account using your ID card number, name, email and no. telephone; verify via CAPTCHA and email.
- Complete the user profile information and log in with a MyJPJ ID or new account.
- Buy an e-catalogue (RM50) to access the list of impounded/disenfranchised vehicles.
- Select your favorite vehicle from the e-catalogue, enter the bid value and confirm the deposit payment.
- Waiting for the auction results to be announced in the application via notification.

Bidding Series – Public Auction of Sita Vehicles
The Seized Vehicle Public Auction Program 01/2026SEL will be organized by JPJ Selangor to sell seized vehicles through a digital bidding system using the JPJvBid application.
Through this initiative, the public can participate in the bidding transparently without having to be physically present because the entire process is done online.
This auction is implemented by the Malaysian Road Transport Department as part of the management of impounded vehicles that have not been claimed or have gone through certain legal processes.
Important Dates (March – April 2026)
Some important dates that bidders should pay attention to are:
- e-Catalog Purchase Date: March 18, 2026 (Two days from now).
- Bidding Start Date: 1 April 2026.
- Bid End Date: 5 April 2026.
- Results: 6 April 2026.
NOTE: The e-catalogue contains complete information on the list of auctioned vehicles such as vehicle type, current condition and minimum bid price.
Number of Vehicles Offered
As much 30 vehicles offered in this series of auctions with the following breakdowns:
- 25 vehicles can be relicensed
- 5 vehicles cannot be licensed
- Total amount: 30 vehicles
A licensable vehicle means that the successful bidder can legally register and use the vehicle after fulfilling the procedures set by JPJ.

The difference between JPJVBID and JPJeBID
JPJvBid is a platform dedicated to auctioning seized or confiscated vehicles. While JPJeBid is for special number plates only. Both are under JPJ but function separately.

JPJVBID FAQ
JPJvBID is an online platform (application or portal) specially developed by JPJ to manage the auction process of seized vehicles. It is different from JPJeBid which is used for vehicle registration number bidding.
– Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above.
– Permanent Residents (PR) who have valid documents.
– Companies or Businesses registered under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
– Individuals/Companies that are not blacklisted by JPJ or PDRM.
The E-Catalog contains detailed information on each auctioned vehicle unit, including:
– Pictures of vehicles.
– Status (Licensable or Not Licensable).
– Model, year of manufacture, and chassis number.
– Reserve Price (starting bid price).
– Seized store location for physical inspection.
– Licenseable (25 units): A vehicle that can be re-registered, given a new grant, and allowed to drive on the road after the winner has paid off.
– Unlicensable (5 units): Vehicles that can only be used as scrap (bad metal) or taken for spare parts only. It cannot be re-registered for the road.

– Select the vehicle you want to bid on and enter the bid amount (must exceed the reserve price).

The Selangor JPJ pilot test (30 vehicle units) starts from 1-5 April 2026, after the e-catalog opens on 18 March.
