In Islam, the concept of circumcision refers to the practice organized in the implementation of worship but does not cancel the worship if abandoned.
It is different from the circumcision of Ab’adh, which, when abandoned, is encouraged to replace it with a prostration.
It works to perform worship, enhance the devotion, and enhance one’s practice in worship.
Many Muslims are still confused between the two terms.
The meaning of circumcision haiat

Haiat circumcision generally refers to acts in worship that if practiced will be rewarded but if left out does not cause the worship to be canceled or need to be repaired by prostration.
For example in prayer, many aspects are categorized as circumcision as it aims to enhance the prayer procedure without interrupting its validity.
The word “Haiat” comes from Arabic which means shape or circumstances. Thus, the circumcision is intended to perfect the shape and beauty of the prayer, making it more perfect from the order and serenity.
Every movement and reading in this circumcision category has its own wisdom and benefits, which helps one draw closer to Allah Almighty.

Wisdom and advantage
Performing the circumcision of the prayer in prayer not only increases the number of movements or readings, but it brings a lot of wisdom and priorities:
Fill in the deficiency of the pillars: There are scholars’ views that the practice of circumcision will be a complement or complement to the deficiencies that may occur in our prayer pillars, either due to negligence or lack of focus.
Complete the prayer: Although the prayer is legally without circumcision, performing it makes our prayers more perfect and closer to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.
Adding rewards: Every practice of circumcision will be rewarded by Allah Almighty. This is an opportunity for us to collect more rewards.
Increase solemnity: Every movement and reading such as iftitah prayer and beads, helps us to focus and experience the presence of God in prayer. It helps prevent the floating mind during prayer.
Following the Sunnah of the Prophet: By performing the circumcision, we emulate the prayer of the Prophet Muhammad, which is the best example of Muslims.
