Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah are legally engaged on 28 March 2026, Saturday at Locarasa Bamboo Hills, Kuala Lumpur.
The engagement ceremony of Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah was broadcast live by Astro Gempak and was attended by family, celebrity friends and close acquaintances.
Member of Parliament for Muar, Syed Saddiq, proposed to Bella Astillah, actress and singer, at the top of Mount Kinabalu, Sabah, while they were climbing before holding an official engagement ceremony today.

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, and Bella Astillah are now legally engaged after officially tying the knot today.
Their love journey that began to be noticed since 2025 finally ended with the confirmation that Bella is now Syed Saddiq’s fiance.

Guests Attended In Soft Yellow Dress
The atmosphere of Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah’s engagement ceremony looked more enchanting when the guests were present in soft yellow clothes.
Bella, on the other hand, appeared elegant in a modern baju kurung in a soft pastel blue similar to Syed Saddiq’s, matched with a fringe on her head that gave a feminine and elegant effect to her appearance.

After finishing the sarong ring ceremony, Syed Saddiq entered the hall carrying a bouquet of flowers as a symbol of love and appreciation for Bella Astillah.

In the engagement ceremony, Syed Saddiq delivered a brief speech full of meaning and gratitude.
He described himself as “the luckiest guy” for having the opportunity to be one of the closest people to Bella Astillah.
In addition, he also praised the woman’s strength and perseverance as a tireless single mother.
In the emotional speech, Syed Saddiq also touched on sensitive questions that often arise on social media about Bella Astillah’s background as a woman who has been married and has two children.
“Sometimes when I read someone asks, Bella has been married and has two children, can you accept that?” he said.
“I want to make it clear, I love Bella not because of that, but I love her because of her children too, Ayden and Ara. I want to emphasize that.”
“That’s something very special. I hope Ara and Ayden can accept me. Even though I may not be able to dance like Ara, I hope she can accept me.
As for Ayden, I can’t wait to train with him and learn from him. They are both really great kids,”
The sincere speech touched the hearts of many attendees, including Bella who was seen unable to hold back tears.

The ceremony saw five trays sent from the men with the theme of ‘future’, which included not only 120 pieces of gold as a symbol of strength of commitment, but also ASNB and Tabung Haji savings for Bella Astillah, as well as SSPN for Bella’s two children, Ayden and Ara.
This is a sign of seriousness in taking responsibility not only for Bella, but also for the future of their family.
On the other hand, Bella responded with seven Mount Kinabalu-themed delivery trays, referring to Syed Saddiq’s proposal that took place at the top of the mountain, making Mount Kinabalu a symbol of the bond of love born when they climbed together.
