This week, various announcement And Government incentives Federal & State Governmentshas been announced specially for Malaysians, among them SYUKUR Phase 2, SuRIA Home Prayer Rebate, announcement of new passports, and so on. 1. SuRIA Home Solar Rebate
The Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) has launched the Sustainable Rebate & Incentive Assistance (SuRIA) Home program as a new initiative to help people reduce electricity costs through the installation of residential roof solar systems.
This initiative was announced by YAB Datuk Amar Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister
concurrently Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation during the PETRA Monthly Assembly at Menara PETRA on 22 May 2026.
Domestic users who install a Solar ATAP system and meet the eligibility criteria can receive a rebate of RM600 for every 1kWac of solar installation up to the maximum RM3,000simultaneously 5kWac.
This initiative is open to solar installations under the Solar ATAP program that start operating for a period until 31 December 2026 or until the 250MW quota is met, whichever is earlier.
The implementation of this rebate will start on 1 Jun 2026 and it is subject to principles first come, first served.

2. THANK YOU Phase 2
SYUKUR Sabah 2026 is a monthly / phased cash assistance program for the people in the state of Sabah. It is an initiative of the Sabah State Government through the Sentuhan Kasih Rakyat Program. Distribution Phase 2 online bank in has started on May 21, 2026 (Thursday). Eligible recipients will be credited a payment of RM600 per phase, totaling RM2400 or RM200 per month.
Checking the status of SYUKUR Sabah 2026 can be done through the official portal https://syukur.sabah.gov.my.
SYUKUR Sabah (Sabah People’s Touch Program) is a monthly cash assistance program of RM200 implemented by the Sabah State Government through the People’s Touch Program.
This assistance is targeted at the poor and the severely poor in the state of Sabah to help ease the burden of living costs throughout the year.
This program focuses on Sabahans who are registered in the state welfare database system such as PADANS and eKasih.

3. Bursary B40
The B40 Bursary Program (DB40) is a full financial assistance scheme by the Public Service Department (JPA) for SPM graduates from low-income families (B40 group).
This program fully covers the cost of studying at the Diploma and Diploma level in the field of Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) which has been fully or temporarily recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
The main purpose is to help the children of B40 continue their studies to a higher level without the burden of educational debt.
For the year 2026, applications for the B40 Scholarship Program (DB40) will be opened in August 2026 through penajaan.jpa.gov.my.

4. Kelantan State Micro Credit Scheme Application 2026
The Kelantan State Government is now opening applications for the Kelantan State Entrepreneur Micro Credit Scheme to help small and medium-sized entrepreneurs develop their businesses which can be applied for through the link
Application open date starts May 24, 2026 until June 11, 2026.
The loan amount that can be applied for is from RM3,000 to RM10,000.
The loan period is from 3 to 5 years with 0% interest or without interest.
5. Relaxation of Entry Requirements for Young Soldiers
TDM has loosened the recruitment requirements for Young Soldiers! This aims to open wider opportunities for Malaysians to join the military service.
Among the improvements that have been implemented are:
- The minimum height for men is now 1.57m compared to 1.62m before.
- BMI limit increased to 28.
- The age limit for admission is raised from 25 to 30 years.
- Glasses wearers are now allowed to apply.
- More opportunities are opening up for women’s involvement in certain fields.
- TDM set up a monitoring team & special committee to deal with the issue of bullying and abuse in ATMs.
6. New Passport Starting June 1, 2026
The Immigration Department (JIM) will issue a new version of the International Malaysian Passport (PMA) equipped with 94 security features starting June 1, thus strengthening the security of the national identification document.
Director-General of Immigration Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said for the initial phase, the issuance of the new passport will involve four offices, namely the Immigration Headquarters in Putrajaya, the Kuala Lumpur Passport Office in Jalan Duta, the Urban Transformation Center (UTC) Wangsa Maju and the Shah Alam Immigration Office.
He said the implementation of the new PMA production will be done in stages before being fully implemented throughout the country in July.
People should not rush to exchange their existing passports. International Malaysian passports that still have a validity period can continue to be used as usual until the expiry date.
The Malaysian Immigration Department is committed to ensuring that the transition process is carried out in an orderly, smooth and easy way for the people.

7. Online Safety Act – 2 New Code Effective June 1, 2026
The implementation of two new codes under the Online Safety Act 2025 (ONSA), namely the Child Protection Code (CPC) and the Risk Reduction Code (RMC) which will come into effect on June 1, received positive reactions among Malaysians, especially parents.
With the implementation of the two new codes, the Child Protection Code (CPC) and the Risk Reduction Code (RMC) which will come into effect from June 1, it will strengthen the protection of children on digital platforms.
It also obliges platform providers to take stricter measures in dealing with harmful and harmful content.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
