What is the Sarawak Foundation Scholarship 2026?
Yayasan Sarawak Scholarship 2026 refers to the educational sponsorship given by Yayasan Sarawak to Sarawak Children who are eligible to continue their studies at secondary school or higher education level (IPTA/IPTS) in the country and abroad, for the 2026/2027 academic session.
These scholarships are divided into two main types, the Sarawak Tun Taib Foundation Scholarship (BYSTT) for outstanding students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and the Sarawak Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship (YBSTAR) for outstanding students in non-STEM fields.

Sarawak Foundation Scholarship Closing Date 2026
The application closing date for the Sarawak Foundation Scholarship 2026 (session 2026/2027) is on May 29, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
Applications received after the said date and time will not be considered, and all applicants must register and submit the form online through Yayasan Sarawak’s official portal before this closing date.
Eligibility Conditions
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently or will be studying in a recognized course, on a FULL-TIME basis at any Higher Education Institution in the Country or Abroad. The applicant has already received a letter of offer of admission to the Institution.
- Anak Jati Sarawak (either mother OR father OR both parents are
Born in Sarawak.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS)
Applicants who are currently studying OR applicants who have been admitted to a Higher Education Institution must have one of the following academic qualifications:

Selection Criteria
- Eligible candidates who meet the above criteria will be interviewed by a panel
special - Selection will be made taking into account performance during the interview,
candidate’s potential, leadership talent, contribution to the community and other criteria deemed appropriate by the panel.

Documents Required
The following is a list of documents that MUST be uploaded: –
- Copy of Student MyKad and Parent/Guardian MyKad
- Copy of Student’s Birth Certificate
- Copy of the Letter of Offer of Admission to the Institution for the most recent studies that have been finalized. (Exchanging the offer letter during the interview session is not allowed and will result in the application being cancelled)
- A copy of the LATEST academic results for current studies (CGPA/CGPA).
- Copy of SPM Result (Malay must be Credit) which is equivalent to it.
- KoKurikulum Certificate (KK) from the Sarawak State Education Department (JPNS). IF THERE IS NO copy of the KK certificate from JPNS, then the applicant can upload ONE (1) COPY ONLY, either:
- Co-Curriculum Highest Achievement OR
- Highest Entry OR
- Position Held
for EACH 4 ELEMENTS below, namely:

- Copy of Latest Salary Slip/ Pension Statement/ Salary Confirmation Letter (for the self-employed)
- Officials or government or private employees who are currently serving must submit their application through their respective Head of Department and include a Letter of Authorization to Study Full-Time. (if relevant)

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher.
