SKPG 2.0 or the Graduate Tracking System is a collection of information implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) to find out the employment status of graduates after graduation. MOHE / KPT graduates can check or update your employment status in the SKPG 2.0 System at the following official link:

This study aims to obtain the views of graduates regarding the study programs, facilities and services provided by their respective Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Graduates who are about to graduate are required to fill out the Graduate Tracking System (SKPG). Completion of the SKPG is also a condition to take the robe and study transcript.

What is SKPG 2.0?

In short, this system is a very robust system to keep records of all graduates in Malaysia because it is the Official Database that stores our academic history.

For now, it is understood that this system is open to all IPT and ILKA graduates in the country who have convocation since 2006 and have data in the KPT database.

What is in the SKPG 2.0 record?

When we log in on the official site ( ) the system will display:

• Convocation Year (Year of graduation)
• Name of Institution (University)
• Award/Degree (Certificate obtained – Doctorate/PhD, Master/Master, Bachelor/Bachelor)
• Employment Status – Employment status includes full-time, part-time, continuing education, upskilling, awaiting placement or self-employment.

For graduates who are convoked in the current year, the employment status update is the next day after completing the Graduate Tracking System (SKPG 1/TVET) and is limited to once a day.

The importance of SKPG 2.0

This study was conducted for the following purposes:

1. Find out the employment status of graduates after graduation.
2. Helping the government and universities understand the marketability of graduates.
3. Get feedback from graduates about the quality of the study program, facilities and campus experience.
4. Assisting in the proposal of work and education policy in Malaysia.

Who Needs to Fill SKPG 2.0?

All graduates of the country’s Higher Education Institutions (IPTs) and Public Skills Training Institutions (ILKAs) who will hold convocation in the current year are eligible to participate in this Graduate Tracking Study System.

For updates, it is open to all national IPT and ILKA graduates who have convocation since 2006 and have data in the KPT database.

For graduates who are convoked in the current year, the employment status update is the next day after completing the Graduate Tracking System (SKPG 1/TVET) and is limited to once a day.

Cara Isi SKPG 2.0 (Step-by-Step)

1. Go to the official SKPG 2.0 website: https://graduan.mohe.gov.my/update.
2. Login with ID/passport number and CAPTCHA.
3. Follow the instructions to update your job status.
4. Save or print the “Verification Slip” if required (depending on the university).
   • Tip: Make sure the information you fill in is accurate so that the recorded graduate data is correct and useful for marketability analysis.

When to Update?

If there is a change in employment status or getting a better job such as the situation below:

Situation 1
If you have got a job, for example:
* Not yet working
*Awaiting Placement
* Continuing Studies

Situation 2
Get a better job either in terms of position or monthly income

The SKPG portal is usually opened according to the date respective convocationsand the university will upload eligible graduate data gradually based on senate approval.

If you see the notification “YOUR INFORMATION IS NOT ON RECORD”it may be because your institution has not finished sending data to the KPT system. In this case, check back later or contact the university.
