What is the Single Mother Love Program (KasihnITa) 2026?
The Kasih Ibu Tunggal Program (KasihnITa) 2026 is a single mother empowerment program organized by the Women’s Development Department (JPW), KPWKM, in collaboration with various agencies and professional experts.
This program is generally to help single mothers improve their knowledge, confidence and ability to manage life.
There are three (3) main modules in this program which are:
- Psychosocial Development Module.
- Legal Skills Module;
- Management & Financial Literacy Module; and
Unlike “one-off” financial assistance, KasihnITa is designed as a long-term guidance program to help single mothers rise, become independent, and manage life’s challenges more systematically.


Why should single mothers participate in this program?
Each module will be delivered by expert instructors who have extensive experience in their respective fields.
The implementation method that is carried out focuses on each individual case and problem specifically.
Through sessions coaching & mentoringparticipants will be guided and instructed until they successfully reach the set targets.
Objective
Here are the 4 main objectives of this program:
- Empowering and helping single mothers
- Assisting single mothers in post-divorce claims
- Helping single mothers with financial/debt management
- Helping single mothers to awaken their personal and psychosocial potential
Module
This Single Mother Love Program offers 3 module options which are:
Legal Skills Module
- Disclosure of procedures and legal procedures in court.
- The method of making a claim yourself in court without legal assistance.
- Case analysis and legal advisory services. Legal Aid Services – lawyers will take your case to court for free – subject to terms and conditions.
Management & Financial Literacy Module
- Financial restructuring.
- Techniques to reduce the burden of debt and monthly commitments.
- The secret to increasing savings in no time.
- Investment strategies and wealth generation.
Psychosocial Development Module
- Recognize and develop your potential.
- Conflict/problem and emotional management.
- The formation of a positive mindset.
- Strategies to achieve success.
Implementation Phase
Each module will be implemented in phases as detailed below:
Phase 1: Advocacy/Introduction
A 2-hour online module introduction session. Participants will be selected according to the criteria that have been set to qualify for the next phase.
Phase 2: Development
Intensive training according to the module for 3 days physically according to the state of implementation chosen by the participants. (Place will be announced later).
Phase 3: Guidance
Coaching & mentoring individually and in groups online/physically.
NOTE: Participants must give full commitment to follow the three (3) phases of the program until completion. However, participants who have gone through phase 1 will be screened based on the requirements and criteria that have been set to be eligible to participate in the next phase.
Conditions of Participation
The eligibility conditions for the selection of participants are as follows:
1. Single mother
According to the definition of KPWKM, single mothers are:
- Women who are the Head of Household, widowed or divorced/permanently separated and have unmarried children in the same household; or
- A woman who is the Head of Household but has a husband (her husband is not healthy and unable to work) and has unmarried children in the same household; or
- Female Head of Household, never married but has children (adopted or illegitimate children).
2. Malaysian citizens.
3. Facing financial, legal or potential problems and self-confidence.
