To graduates of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) who will be attending the 103rd UiTM Convocation, you need to check the date of the ceremony and robe collection for the convocation.

The following is information and info about this convocation.

About the Convocation Ceremony

The Convocation Ceremony is a ceremony held for those who have completed their studies to receive a Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and Doctor of Philosophy.

The main purpose of this ceremony is to celebrate students who have successfully completed a certain level of study.

Normally, at this ceremony, the graduates will march into the hall, along with the parade of officers, lecturers, council members, Vice Chancellors, Pro-Chancellors and Chancellors of the University.

Graduates will also be dressed in special convocation attire witnessed by parents and family members with their families and they will receive a study scroll as a sign that the graduate has completed their studies.

Date of the 103rd UiTM Convocation

The date of this convocation is as follows:

UiTM Shah Alam 19 November to 9 December 2025

* The convocation ceremony is postponed to 21 November, 28 November and 5 December 2025.

UiTM Sabah Branch 10 to 11 December 2025
UiTM Sarawak Branch 16 to 18 December 2025

Convocation Location

The location of the convocation will be held as follows:

i- The Chancellor’s Great Hall, UiTM Shah Alam

Post-graduate diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, professional degrees and diplomas UiTM Shah Alam, UiTM Selangor Branch, UiTM Perak Branch, UiTM Pahang Branch, UiTM Kelantan Branch, UiTM Johor Branch, UiTM Kedah Branch, UiTM Melaka Branch, UiTM Negeri Sembilan Branch, UiTM Penang Branch, UiTM Perlis Branch, UiTM Terengganu Branch and UiTM affiliated colleges (in Peninsular Malaysia)

ii- Al-Bukhari Hall, UiTM Sabah Branch

Awarding of degrees and diplomas to bachelor degree and diploma graduates only from UiTM Sabah Branch only.

iii- Jubilee Hall, UiTM Sarawak Branch

Awarding of degrees and diplomas to bachelor degree and diploma graduates only from UiTM Sarawak Branch and UiTM affiliated colleges (in Sarawak).

Frequently Asked Questions

I did not attend the convocation ceremony, do I have to pay the convocation fee?

Yes, graduates who did not attend the convocation ceremony must pay the full convocation fee to obtain the certificate, official transcript and certificate album (folder).

Do AC704/AC220 program students taking the professional program (AC550/AC551) have to pay both convocation fees?

Yes, both fees are payable. Students will receive a certificate and a certificate album (folder) for the AC704/AC220 program as well as the professional program (AC550/AC551).

Can graduates change the location of the convocation ceremony?

Nope. Graduates are NOT ALLOWED to change the location of the convocation ceremony. Graduates must attend the convocation ceremony according to the designated location.

Are heirs allowed to attend convocation if the graduate has died? What should the heirs do?

Heirs are allowed to attend the convocation ceremony to receive a diploma or degree of a deceased graduate. The next of kin should contact the officer in charge (PIC) of the graduate program immediately if the next of kin wants to attend the graduate convocation ceremony.

Who is allowed to attend the convocation ceremony and how many people are allowed to enter the hall?

Graduates are allowed to attend with their families. However, only TWO (2) guests (parents/family members) aged 12 and above are allowed to enter the hall. Other family members can sit in the places provided in front of the hall or in the BL Level Foyer, DATC Multi-storey Car Park.

I did not fill out the graduate tracking survey questionnaire. Can I attend the convocation?

CAN’T. The Graduate Tracer Study System (SKPG) is an annual study carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) to find out the status of graduates after completing their studies. All graduates are REQUIRED to answer the Graduate Tracking Survey questionnaire.
