RM100/month Incentive for Working Women

Eligible mothers can get cash assistance of RM100 per month for a year if they have children aged 6 and under through the MamaKerja initiative.

What is the MamaKerja Incentive?
The MamaKerja Incentive is a special cash assistance introduced by the Selangor State Government to support working mothers with children aged six and under.
In the Selangor Budget 2026, this incentive is given as much as RM100 per month for each child for a period of one year.
This incentive aims to ease the cost of child care and childcare which is a major challenge for many working mothers, especially low and middle income families.


The overall allocation for MamaKerja incentives in 2026 is as much as RM5 million.
Dato’ Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the initiative is expected to benefit 2,166 children throughout Selangor, in line with the target group of beneficiaries identified.
To apply, eligible working mothers must meet the conditions set by the state government including having a child under the age of six and having a household income within the eligibility limit.
The MamaKerja Incentive not only provides financial support but also recognizes the important role of women in the state’s economy and helps them remain active and productive in the labor market while managing their families better.
Incentive Amount
Each eligible applicant will receive an incentive of RM100 per month for a year. The total amount is RM1200 per year.
This amount increased by RM200 compared to the previous year, RM1000 which was given separately one-off.


Target
The main target of the MamaKerja incentive is working mothers in Selangor who really need financial support to finance the cost of care and upbringing of their children.
The program targets about 5,000 eligible working women to date, particularly those with children aged 6 and under.
Eligibility Conditions
- Working and self-employed women.
- Are citizens of Selangor (born in Selangor or resident in Selangor for more than 10 years).
- Voting in Selangor.
- With a household income of RM8,000 and below.
- Individuals who have an Inland Revenue Board (IRB) account or Employee Provident Fund (EPF) contributions.
- Have children aged 6 and under.
- Not recipients of ASUH PINTAR, TUNAS and BINGKAS assistance.
Date & Method of Application
The official date and application method for the MamaKerja incentive for 2026 has not yet been officially announced.
The application date and method will be updated when the Selangor State Government or official government media channels have announced it in the near future.
This application is limited to the first 5000 applicants who meet the eligibility requirements.
Help List for Children Under 6 Years Old
In addition to MamaKerja, there are two more grants for children under 6 years old based on the Selangor Budget 2026, namely:
- Selangor Kindergarten Assistance Scheme (TUNAS): Assistance in the form of RM50 per month for kindergarten fees.
- Iltizam Anak Selangor (ANAS):A financial assistance program of RM100 per year for five years for children born starting in 2022.
These grants are an initiative of the Selangor state government in Budget 2026 to ease the financial burden of families and support the education and well-being of children under 6 years old.
Assistance is specifically targeted at low-income families and B40 in Selangor.

Applications are made online through the Selangkah application or the website mamakerja.selangkah.my based on the previous year. How to apply will be updated after the official announcement of the MamaKerja 2026 application is open.
Unemployed mothers are not eligible to apply for the MamaKerja 2026 incentive because one of the main conditions is that the applicant must be a working and self-employed woman.
