The MyLicense B2 Year 2026 program is a government initiative to empower the B40 group and their dependents to obtain a Malaysian Driving License (LMM) Class B2 for motorcycles.

Introduction

The MyLesen B2 Year 2026 program is a Government initiative to empower recipients (or dependents) of the B40 group to obtain a Malaysian Driving License (LMM) Class B2.

This program is fully borne by the Government subject to the conditions set. Eligible participants are Malaysian citizens aged between 16 and 35 years at the time of application.

The MyLesen B2 program for this year was also expanded in educational institutions in an effort to help students and youth who are less able to obtain a license.

JPJ will organize the training schedule and driving test and announce the date of the practical test of the participants.

Participants must complete the training module and test according to the time and procedure set before the license is issued.

JPJ works with the Ministry of Education and the State Department of Education to implement the MyLesen B2 Program at the school level for students to ride motorcycles to school.

  6. Free from the Court, JPJ and PDRM blacklists
  7. Preference to JPJ Cadets, School Students and Educational Institution Students

Terms and Conditions of the MyLesen B2 Program Year 2026

  1. Registration through this form does not guarantee that you will be selected to participate in this Program.
  2. This program will run from March until October 2026.
  3. Your application will be screened according to the conditions that have been set. Only successful participants will be contacted by the State JPJ to register at the designated Driving Institute (IM).
  4. The cost of participant fees involving training, practical and test fees will be fully sponsored.
  5. Transportation costs to IM and other additional costs are not included in this package and must be borne by the participants themselves.
  6. Participants must be ready to follow this program based on the time period and schedule of training and tests set.
  7. Participants must follow the training, practice and driving test set by JPJ.
  8. Participants are subject to any additional conditions set by MOT and JPJ from time to time.

Closing Date

The program is expected to run from March until October 2026. Registration will be open until the designated quota is full.

The closing date for participating in the MyLesen B2 Program in 2026 is until the participation quota in the State JPJ is met.

How to Apply MyLesen B2 JPJ 2026

  • To apply for the MyLesen B2 Year 2026 Program, registration can be done through State JPJ Offices throughout Malaysia.

Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements that have been set. Participation will be closed once the participation quota in each State JPJ is met.

Be sure to provide the necessary documents such as an identity card, health screening test results, and passport photos.

After filling out the form, you need to choose the nearest driving training center to undergo practical training.

JPJ will arrange your training schedule and inform you of the practical test date. Make sure you attend on the appointed date to ensure your application is not cancelled.

Cost of Payment

No fee will be charged because the cost of training and testing is fully funded by the Government.

Other costs such as health check-ups, transport, accommodation and food and drink during the course, training and driving test must be borne by the participant and are not included in the financing fee package by the Government.

Training & Testing Period

Participants must undergo all course modules, training and driving tests according to the time period and procedures set by JPJ before the Malaysian Driving License (LMM) Class B2 is issued as follows:

  • Theory Course (KPP01) – 6 Hours
  • Written Test (KPP01) – 1 Hour
  • Practical Training On Circuit (KPP02) – 9.5 Hours
  • Practical Training On Road (KPP03) – 6 Hours
  • Pre Test (QTI) – 30 Minutes
  • JPJ test

If the participant fails to complete the Program within the prescribed period of 3 months, the participant will be removed from participating in the MyLesen B2 Year 2026 Program.

8. Where do participants need to undergo training and driving tests to obtain a Malaysian Driving License (LMM) Class B2?

Participants must attend courses, training and tests at the Driving Institute that have been designated by JPJ only. Placement of training and test locations will be determined based on the location closest to the participant’s choice.

9. Are participants allowed to change to another Driving Institute (IM) after successfully undergoing part of the prescribed training or are they allowed to stop from continuing training and testing?

Nope. Participants must complete training and testing at the registered IM and are not allowed to switch to another IM. Participants are subject to the conditions of the Program
through one (1) Letter of Promise to ensure the participant’s commitment to the program being implemented.

10. Will other costs that are not included in the MyLesen B2 Year 2025 Program fee package be borne by the Government?

Nope. Other costs such as health check-ups, transport, accommodation and food and drink during the course, training and driving test must be borne by the participant and are not included in the financing fee package by the Government.

11. What causes participants to be removed from participating in the 2026 MyLesen B2 Program?

When the participant fails to complete the Program before the set period which starts from March until October 2026.

12. When is the closing date for participation for the 2026 My License B2 Program?

The closing date is until the participation quota is met. Total quota will be updated later.

13. Do participants need to undergo a health examination before participating in the MyLesen B2 Year 2026 Program?

Nope. However, participants need to verify their own health through the Candidate Health Certificate Form that has been prepared.

14. Are Persons with Disabilities (OKU) allowed to participate in the MyLesen B2 Program Year 2025?

Allowed disabled persons are for categories that do not involve any modification of the vehicle only as follows:
a) Hearing;
b) Speech; or
c) Learning.
