The Iltizam Anak Selangor program targets 30,000 new born children in the State of Selangor starting in 2022.

Each successful application will open a SSPN Prime Savings account and will receive savings worth RM100 per year for a period of 5 years which will be credited to the account starting from the year of birth.

Introduction to the Iltizam Anak Selangor Program

The Iltizam Anak Selangor program is an aid scheme from the Selangor State Government that was introduced in the Selangor Budget 2022 to help the people through children’s education savings.

This program provides a monetary contribution of RM100 per year for 5 years into an SSPN Prime Savings account in the name of a child born in Selangor starting in 2022.

The total amount of contribution is RM500 for each child and the savings can only be withdrawn when the child is 18 years old or above.

This program targets up to 30,000 children on the condition that the child and parent/guardian are Malaysian citizens residing and registered voters in Selangor.

Applications are made online at the official website anas.yawas.com.my and applications will be closed once the quota of 30,000 applicants is full.

This program is part of the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang initiative which supports the overall well-being of the people of Selangor.

Eligibility Conditions

Here are the eligibility requirements for those of you who want to apply:

CHILD CRITERIA

1. Children born in 2022
2. Malaysian citizens
3. Born in Selangor
4. Currently residing in Selangor

PARENT / GUARDIAN CRITERIA

1. Malaysian citizens
2. aged 18 years and above
3. Currently residing in Selangor
4. Registered voters in Selangor

How to Apply for the Iltizam Anak Selangor Program

1. Applications can be made online at www.anas.yawas.com.my.
2. The required supporting documents must be uploaded in the application system within 14 days from the date the online application is made.

Documents Required

Please attach the following documents to the application:

1. A copy of the child’s birth certificate
2. Copy of Mykad of mother / father / guardian
3. A copy of the valid voter register from the MYSPR system
4. Copy of adoption certificate (if relevant)
5. Affidavit (for relationships other than mother/father/adoptive)

SSPN PRIME Account Opening

The opening of a Simpan SSPN Prime account or the entry of a deposit for an existing account will be implemented after the Selangor Children’s Iltizam application is approved.

The registered parent/guardian will automatically be the permanent depositor for the child’s Simpan SSPN Prime account opened under this program.

For children who already have an SSPN Prime Savings account (subject to the same depositor), money will be credited into the account once the application is approved.

YAWAS will notify the recipient/depositor once the money has been credited to Simpan SSPN Prime anak via the email registered when the application was made.

Savings money contributed by the Selangor state government cannot be withdrawn until the child turns 18.

The total amount of money entered is worth it RM 100 every year for a period of 5 years only.

Contribution of money to the account is subject for births from January 1, 2022 only.

Date of Application

The application period for ILTIZAM ANAK SELANGOR is open until this program reaches a quota of 30,000 applicants who meet the requirements of Iltizam Anak Selangor.

For the time being, the ILTIZAM Anak Selangor application has already been submitted CLOSED.

However, the application date is for 2026 will be updatedlater if there is an official announcement by the Selangor government following the presentation of the Selangor Budget 2026 recently.

NOTE: The application system is expected to open after the fourth quarter of 2026. It is part of the state government’s initiative to expand aid packages and financial schemes to the people of Selangor. For now the application is closed because the quota of 30,000 is full. Please check back from time to time.
