Synopsis of Stars in the Sky of Syawal

Tells about the life journey of an orphan named Syawal (Adam Lee), who is often haunted by emptiness and longing for a father’s love.

Everything begins to change when a mysterious man named Latif (Azhar Sulaiman) appears at the welfare home where Syawal grew up, leaving a sum of money without any explanation.

The visit, which was supposed to be a secret, was finally discovered by Syawal, raising questions and prompting him to find the truth behind the man’s identity.

Driven by curiosity and the belief that Latif may be his biological father, Syawal is determined to escape from the welfare home.

In his travels, he meets Jess (Scha Elinnea), a girl who becomes a loyal friend and a source of strength in going through a life full of wounds and secrets.

However, the search that he thought would bring him together with the love of a father eventually led Syawal to the dark side of life that challenged his belief in the true meaning of a family. The much-anticipated meeting instead opened up more questions than answers.

Now, question after question haunts Syawal. What is the real purpose of Latif appearing in that place? Why is his life tied to a world full of evil and deception?

Could it be that this meeting will be the light that Syawal has been looking for or just add to the suffering in his search for love and his true identity?
