The Australian Badminton Open, now known as the SATHIO GROUP Australian Badminton Open, is the most prestigious badminton tournament in Australia and the Oceania region.
With a cash prize of USD$475,000 on offer, this tournament is listed as a BWF Super 500 event in the HSBC BWF World Tour series, making it one of the elite competitions that attracts world-class players.
The tournament is a joint venture between the Sathio Group and the Australian Badminton League, with VICTOR as the main equipment sponsor.
