About Students with Special Needs

Referring to the Education (Special Education) Regulations 2013, a pupil with special educational needs is a child certified by a medical practitioner, optician, audiologist or psychologist as the case may be whether in government service or not as a pupil who has:

• Hearing Impairment
• Visually Impaired
• Speech Impairment
• Physical Disabilities
• Learning Problems
• Multiple Disabilities

• Opening date: February 9, 2026
• Closing date: 12 March 2026

Eligibility Conditions

The eligibility requirements to apply for admission to this KV are as follows:

1. Candidates are Malaysian citizens.
2. Holders of the Disabled Persons (OKU) Card issued by the Social Welfare Department (JKM) for the purpose of applying for Special Education Needs Student Allowance (EMBPK).
3. Candidates must be in good physical health and have no chronic diseases (heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, seizures and other diseases) that can limit students from carrying out practical work.
4. Able to take care of themselves.
5. Never had a record of serious disciplinary misconduct such as:
   i. Student report from Student Identity System (SSDM); and
   i. Attendance report through Student Database Application (APDM).
6. Submit High School Leaving Certificate.
7. Master the basic skills of reading, writing, calculating and reasoning (4M).
8. Submit the School-Based Assessment (PBS) document that is the Classroom Assessment (Recording & Reporting in the PBD Module: end of year).
