Astro’s popular reality show will air from October 11, 2025 to November 29, 2025, 8 episodes and aired on Astro Prima (channel 105), Astro Go, VOD and Sooka.

Introduction to the Musical SupperStar

Superstar Musical Musical is a comedy reality show that combines musical elements and jokes in one show. The show is aired on Astro Color.

It is a “spin-off” show of the Mega Emperor who compared a group of Malaysian comedian celebrities and joined the artists from various branches of entertainment industry such as actors, singers and popular personalities.

They will compete by delivering a comedy -based musical concept.

Each episode carries a different theme. So, every team needs to sharpen their creativity in producing a heartbreaking and entertaining sketch.

Superstar Musical Musical not only highlights jokes but also gives participants the opportunity to showcase their talents in acting, singing and dance.

Each performance is accompanied by stunning music and colorful stage background, making the program not only entertaining but also enjoyed by all ages.

SUPERSTAR FRIENDSHIP 2025

The fifth season of Superstar 2025 is back with the epic theme of the “Clash of Empire”, brings together 10 groups representing the World Empire in the country’s musical comedy throne.

Each group, comprised of actors, comedians, singers and influencers, appeared as a ‘hero’ of legendary empire such as Rome, Archipelago, Japan, China, France, Mughal, Mongol and more to defend their dignity on stage every week.

MLS5 broadcast live on October 11, 2025, every Saturday, at 9pm on Astro Prima and features the tagline “The Heroes of You Kaw” as a symbol of the concept of a joke with a creative music delivery challenge.

This season is also strengthened by the presence of new names and personalities of the entertainment world, including Fad and Achey Bocey, Man Raja Lawak, Zul Huzaimy, Joey Daud, Norreen Iman, Naqiu and new comedian and celebrity celebrities such as Maryam Kimchi, Aishah Azman, Waarn and many more.

In addition to comparing musical comedy creativity, MLS5 has become a medium of ‘unexpected’ talent from a variety of backgrounds, while strengthening the legacy of the Malaysian jokes and entertainment industry with fresh, theaters, and team spirit.

Live broadcasts will be made from the CIDB Convention Center, Cheras. For those who want to watch from home or anywhere, you can watch it through Demand at Astro Ultra/Ulti Box and Astro Go and Sooka app.

The organization of the fifth edition was entrusted with collaboration with the Gempak as a digital partner, as well as the Era & Sinar as the official radio partner.

Each group appears as the hero of the great empire inspired by the legendary power of the world such as Rome, the Archipelago, Japan, China, France, Egypt, and more.

Everything is creative in an effort to uphold the dignity and power of their respective empire on stage with a show and music.

MLS5 puts an emphasis on a combination of music, creative acting and innovative jokes as a major weekly challenge that must be conveyed according to different heroes and empire themes every week.

The new format offers a more theater experience where participants not only need to showcase the speed and intelligence of the joke, but also the dramatic ability to bring the empire character humorally and more.

MLS season 5 also uses a more competitive judging system where scores are given by a panel of professional judges along with a spectator draw.​

The fifth season of the 2025 Superstar Musical Musical is still being driven by iconic lawyer Datuk AC Mizal.

What is interesting is the 2025 season is the jury reshuffle, a new trio that is expected to add a fresh and critical assessment angle. The jury line consists of:
